You are ready to escape with the desired box. Making sure not to leave any footprints as you exit through the window in the room, you slide down with the box you brought.

You return back to the headquarters, and get set to open the box. It is a difficult task but according to reports, the Contraplexus staff isn't at the office currently, so you unlock the box before they even know it has been taken.

You can see the front has some writing, but you turn your attention to 6 other small rectangular pieces that are in the box as well, which apparently fit somehow in Component X.

They consist of pieces with wire segments, capable of amplifying the power from the single power node on the bottom of the 5 inch by 6 inch rectangular indentation on the component's back. Due to the amount of power required, it is clear that all the wire must be used as amplification, as the possible exit points around the indentation's edges aren't connected.

You discover the wires on the pieces are as shown and that the pieces can be rotated and placed in the indentation in any manner as long as they fit, however the top and bottom of the pieces are different, so they can't be flipped over.



How should you connect these pieces so that the wire path starts at the bottom, and passes through every piece of wire?

The only use for the computer was to paste the page into Word, crop down to the pieces, print them out and cut along the edges.

Pardon my color blindness, but I'm going to refer to the pieces from top left to lower right in the presentation (usual reading sequence) as purple rectangle, lavender square, red rectangle, yellow square, green rectangle, dark green square.  (Maybe that dark green is really gray, I'm not sure.)

The way I laid them out, I retain the horizontal orientation of the rectangles.

Top row: red rectangle, with connections at the bottom and right, followed by dark green square with connections at left and bottom.

Middle row: lavender square with non-connecting side at the left, followed by green rectangle with three connections on top and one on each of the other sides.

Bottom row: purple rectangle with no connection on the left, followed by yellow square with connections on top and left.

Path starts on the bottom and ends on the right side in the middle row.
