A local person was about to get into the last car of a train when the door closed and the train started moving with a constant acceleration of 1.0476 m/sē. However, the door of the next car 50 m away was still open so he ran and got into the train.
Where is this train station located?
1. Olympic Stadium during the Olympic Games (see Charlie's answer)
2. The train is at the end of the line and goes in reverse direction at the first and last stop; commonly seen at airports, and some amusement parks.
3. The train is about to go in a big loop giving the person time to cut across to where the train will be.
4. (this one is a bit wacky) The train is about 10 feet underground so that the roof of the train is at the level of the walkway, the doors are in the train's roof, you step onto the roof of the train and then enter the door and descend stairs to enter the train. Even if the doors are closed, you can step onto the train and run along the roof to the next door. Egads, pardon my lateral thinking.
