Is the following sentence technically true or false?
The sun will rise tomorrow morning.
My mother tongue is spanish, so in order for me to speak english, I had to take lessons. I remember in one of the lessons we were discussing about the difference between something "will" and something "is goig to". If I'm not wrong (which is probably not the case), something "will happen" means that something is happening FOR SURE!! For example: "I will die someday". Now, something "is going to happen" means that it might happen, or that it has a high probability of happening. For example: "I'm flying to Paris tomorrow". I put that example, because even if I have my ticket bought already, bags packed, and done everything, there could still be something that went wrong, like that I got too sick the night before flying, the airport closed due to an emergency, or whatever. So I would write:
"The sun is going to rise tomorrow morning."
Because there's a possibility that the world might end tonight...
