Seriously. 1 and 2 are just symbols, we can make them mean whatever we want them to. If I define a field in which 1 is bigger than 2, the equation could easily be correct.
I expect that the correct answer to this question is the field Z3, (which is more easily recognized as mod 3,) but it is by no means the only solution. Another possible solution would be a field of ordinary numbers, but with a different definition for addition.
