Can you design an equation with two unknowns and still find the value of one?

Some Thoughts some solutions | Comment 19 of 24 |

(i) xy = 2x  gives y=2
(ii) x+ y = y+6, gives x = 6
(iii) x*sqrt(y) = x gives: y = 1

(iv) x+sqrt(y) = x, gives y =0
