Find the number of positive integers that divide (10)^999 but not (10)^998.

All the divisors of 10^998 are also divisors of 10^999 So, No. of positive integers that divide 10^999 but not 10^998=d(10^999)-d(10^998)=d(2^999*5^999)-d(2^998*5^998) =1000^2-999^2=1999
