Below is a laser puzzle.
A green laser (top row) enters a grid from above and the goal is to make the laser pass through all the targets
(O) by redirecting the laser using mirrors (as in the corners of the grid) which turn the laser 90 degrees.
The laser's path may cross itself in an empty square or at a target, but the laser stops if it hits the outer wall or if it hits the backside of a mirror.
Find a solution that uses as few mirrors as possible.
Dej Mar,
Like Brian Smith I congratulate you on your solution.
Please appreciate that while commenting on the visual appeal of your solution I could not, in my own conscience, comment upon the solution which you raised as:
1. I did offer 'background' for this which ultimately translated into the pic which Gamer very ably provided,
and
2. I did know Brian's prior solution.
In that context, please understand why I did not comment specifically upon the solution at which you arrived.
I trust that you and others who might visit and enjoy this puzzle find challenges in what I believe Brian is offering in his solution [er ... cost?? ... Check out the solution].
