The following six groups of word each share similar (but not identical) word oddities.
GROUP 1 GROUP 2 GROUP 3
aftereffects galahads pepperroot
desegregated hadassahs proprietor
reverberates alfalfas torture
GROUP 4 GROUP 5 GROUP 6
authenticity polonium deeded
dismantle homophony mummy
endowment nonillion ceded
What is the oddity for each group of words?

Okay, I forgot to further qualify...."for those with good joints or a secretary" using a QWERTY keyboard.
For other keyboard layouts, many of the similarites are lost. On the QWERTZ keyboards, the Z and Y are swapped, thus authenticity, homophony and mummy would fall out of their current groups. On the AZERTY keyboards, mummy falls out of group 6 as the M is repositioned to use the right little finger instead of the right index finger; and, with the repositioning of the A, the words listed in group 2 (galahads, hadassahs, and alfalfas) no longer, solely, use the second row of letters. On a DVORAK simplified keyboard, deeded would be moved to group 2 and ceded would be moved to group 4 -- with ALL groups losing their given word lists.
