Little jewel! | Comment 2 of 3 |

Hi!

I try so much to find other solution to this problem!

I find in my calculus that for a cubic function we have

c(x+1)-2*c(x)+c(x-1)=c''(x) for all real x.

or

c(x+1)-c(x) = c'(x)+c''(x)/2+c'''(x)/6 like in Talyor formula

But is not enought to solve the puzzle!!!!

Simpson's formula look great for this kind of puzzle and i belive is a realy jewel!

All credit for you Brian!!!
