Evaluate:

Limit ((2y + 22y + 23y)/3)1/y
y → 0


Bonus Question:

Work out the following limit:

Limit ((2y + 6y + 18y)/3)1/y
y → 0

You are correct, sir.  Limits were never my specialty.  In this case, logic does not apply.

The function value does seem to approach 4 as y decreases.  However, when y falls below 4.6E-16, all bets are off.

I tried l'Hopital's rule, but the derivative of the numerator is too long to print in this limited space.

Oh well, back to the drawing board.
