Limit ( (√(y + √(y + √y))) - √y)
y → ∞

I found it convenient to use y = 1/u^2. Then

f(y) = sqr ( 1/u^2 + sqr (1/u^2 + 1/u) ) - 1/u

= 1/u [ sqr (1 + sqr (u^2 + u^3) )  - 1 ]  as  u goes to 0 we can expand

sqr (1 + sqr( u^2 + u^3 ) ) -> 1 + sqr(u^2 + u^3)/2 -> 1 + u/2. So

f(y) -> 1/2
