In a game of "Noughts and Crosses" between two novice players the X player had the first move and won. If the player of O had been first can you suggest how to replace the winning X with an O to show the new on-screen winner?

Oh! Having found the solution, might you somewhat cryptically make reference to the "key" without saying directly how you actually arrived at it?

BTW, when I just checked his comment I see that he has edited out something that occurred as part of his action, not that it matters, but he was clearly telling me that he had arrived at the end result.
