The following array of "
*'s" 'masks' four three letter words which are to be read in the usual practice of left to right, and top down.
Now here are some considerations.
1. Letter frequency is not restricted.
2. When all places are filled,
all letters are rotated one place (direction is immaterial) around the square. At that point you must still have four three letter words.
3. Common English words are preferred.
(Words borrowed from other languages are acceptable, but try to limit words rarely found in English.)

While I had noticed the OPEN declarations for the text files, I was assuming that they were data maintenance files of your own for subsequently creating your print-outs.
"Magic squares" was my closest description to what I assumed Dej Mar was thinking.
In looking at your offerings at this point there are some instances where the "magic square" scenario might well be possible.
In the second last array to which this comment refers I note:
s h e
a i r
p e a
and then:
g o d
a r e
y e w
also goes very close. But then we'd need some additional rules as to direction of how to read.
