Assuming by the reference to 'avid fan', we are indeed talking ABBA here. The indicated lack of 'encoded punctuation' suggests we may not be dealing with musical notes though. Gamer picked up on the lack of 0's and 1's which (by the reference 'emulating a technology') suggests perhaps a telephone key-pad! Perhaps this has something to do with ABBA's song/album called 'Ring, Ring" ('..., give me a call.') There may be a pettern in the pairs and trio's of digits appearing throughout this, that I'll ponder further. The exclamation marks have got me stumped though!
