ABBA to begin with is primary.
"a tingle" was hopefully suggestive [No, you don't my number!]
The coded text structure was clearly another clue for something.
And then, technology, punctuation....? Oh, yeah, the slant, er lean.
The latter (slant) I felt would have led to an earlier solution.
Something else came up here which I did not expect - T9!

My daughters swapped SMS about the evening's dinner. One offered 'roast potatoes'. The received message was somehow "smart potatoes"! Imagine! Out of their jackets, a quick trim, a bathe in virgin olive oil, and on your platter!!
