“The Square Root of Wonderful” was the name of play on Broadway.
If each letter in WONDERFUL stands for a different digit (zero excluded) and if OODDF, using the same code, represents the square root, then what is the square root of WONDERFUL?

Um? You've started with the concept of 3300² going to 10 digits? Then you've worked backwards? Seems that way.
From that premise I began with 22111 and worked upwards. Having gotten to the 22881 and then moving upwards it seemed clear that uncertainty was ruled out.
(An edit, comment I have overlooked entering, in my prior comment I believe means that I have ruled out all other solution possibilities).
And then, Charlie offers that assurance with his earlier comment.
