Which of the two following statements is True and which is False ?
The next statement is "False".
The previous statement is "True".
Call the two statements A and B, and assume they can only be true or false.
If A is true, B is true, but A says B is false: A cannot be true.
If A is false, B is false, but not A implies B is true: A cannot be false.
If B is true, A is false, but B says A is true: B cannot be true.
If B is false, A is true, but not B implies A is false: B cannot be false.
From this seeming paradox, we see that the original assumption is incorrect, and in fact both statements are neither true nor false.
