x + y * 3√2 + z * 3√4 = 0 (Posted on 2009-10-15) Difficulty: 3 of 5
Each of x, y and z is a rational number such that: x + y * 3√2 + z * 3√4 = 0.

Prove that x=y=z=0 is the only possible solution to the above equation.

Looks like it works in Firefox.

However, if I have single-spaced lines
like this
and convert them to pre-formatted, with the
Formatting drop-down,

They are no longer single spaced, as you can see.

Not only that, but here in Firefox I now seem not to be able to get out of Pre-formatted.
