The version of Braille code used is called Nemeth code, named after Abraham Nemeth.

The above expression is 9 x 2 + 6 / 3. The first two columns of dots is the number sign # indicating the next few cells are numbers and mathematical symbols.

The cross product symbol (assumed to be used as the multiplicaton symbol) is represented with two cells. (The dot product symbol only uses one cell, the second cell represented for the cross product....It is also noted that the first column of the first cell of the 'multiplication' symbol may be missing in the   problem OR the 'space' that separates the cells):
