Evaluate:

Limit A(m)/m
m → ∞ where A(m) denotes the arithmetic mean of the m positive integers m+1, m+2, ....., 2m.

Next evaluate:

Limit G(m)/m
m → ∞ where, G(m) denotes the geometric mean of the m positive integers m+1, m+2, ....., 2m.

Solution More exact solution for second part? | Comment 2 of 3 |

Using methods similar to those for "Limiting Mean", an exact analytical answer to the second part of this problem appears to be sqrt(7/3).

 

I agree with Daniel's answer to the first part, 1.5
