Gambler's triangulation (Posted on 2010-03-18) Difficulty: 3 of 5
I simultaneously toss three standard dice.
I get 3 numbers, 1 to 6, not necessarily distinct. Evaluate the probability that these numbers can represent sides of a triangle.

Hi

The phrasing is not ambiguous.<br>You certainly agree that the chances of getting 1,2,3 are six times more than 3,3,3  and twice as much as 1,2,2.
Enumeration (see Charlie's program) provides only one undisputable answer. .
