I have compiled a long list of dishes named after famous people, like fettuccine Alfredo, beef Stroganoff, tornado Rossini etc.
Please provide other examples in a format: <dish, name of a person, short description & origin>.

The post's aim is to jointly cover the whole range(if possible) of the alphabet.

The answer I learned was "Because they go by at too irregular intervals." (Groan) Rather off the topic, but a weekend to recover, I hope.  Are the clocks & primes as expected?  How does anyone detect a prime if up to 1440 digits allowed (24 hour 24*60)?   Perhaps I can unearth some more comedic comestibles.
