Some Thoughts re(3): Trial, or on the Trail | Comment 4 of 7 |
(In reply to re(2): Trial, or on the Trail by ed bottemiller)

Yes, Ed.

Seer has two syllables (or at least one and a half!)  like skier, sear rhymes with beer. Webster gives: sir, sç-ər (seer) and sir (sear). Wictionary has siə(r) (seer) and sɪə(ɹ) (sear) but in a separate section gives sear as a 'rhyme' for seer anyway.

So it seems this is a problem where everyone gets a chocolate (or should that be a candy?)
