"?"..."!" (Posted on 2011-02-11) Difficulty: 2 of 5

If the sum of 19968 and 22235 is expressed as 0063, and the product of 20108 and 19977 as 0362, then how would the difference between 20845 and 20116 be rendered?

Hmm.

I reflect upon the first of my comments here. I made mention of Hexadecimal but did not test any values.

0063 is the hex code for "?".
0362 displays  "Ū" as a hex unicode rendition.

So it seems that I am looking for a 5-digit code to display "!".  Is Octal a 5-digit system, haven't checked?
