A good try, yet you have 'i' representing two different digits (represented alphametically in the puzzle as 'u' and 'a'), as opposed to a digit being represented by one or more letters.
It was my interpretation that each alphametic letter corresponds to only one digit, though more than one letter may represent the same digit (but, of course, for the digit represented by 'e' in the original alphametic).
