Six of the following seven countries have something in common and one does not. Which is the odd one out?
a) VENEZUELA
b) SPAIN
c) ETHIOPIA
d) PERU
e) ALGERIA
f) FRANCE
g) MALAYSIA
Note: The structure or placement of individual letters constituting a given country has no relevance to the given puzzle.
Perhaps this is one of those problems where 6 of the things are odd for some reason, but the 7th isn't particularly odd, which itself is odd.
As the other posters pointed out, we have the following:
Peru - completely in southern hemisphere
Ethiopia - landlocked
Malaysia - drive on the left side
I think if we can find something distinguishable about three of the other countries, I suspect the last one left will be the solution.
