At the store, there is a rule for determining the price of fruit. An apple costs 50¢, a pear costs 40¢, and an orange costs 60¢. It seems like the rule is 10¢ per letter, but a lemon does not cost 50¢. How much does a lemon cost?

The cheapest priced culinary fruit that I found for the positional-letter-value price tag would be for the Southeast Asian fruit commonly known as gac [$0.11]. It is also known as Baby Jackfruit, Spiny Bitter Gourd, Sweet Gourd or Cochinchin Gourd.

GAC = 7+1+3 = 11
