What I meant was, the "or two" could refer to a card of rank 2, not "or two spaces to the right/left". Thus, in the solution
K-spades, 2-(any suit), Q-hearts,
To the right of the King there's a 2 (as in a "Queen or two"), to the left of the Heart there's a Spade (as in a "Spade or two"), etc
