Given:
a=sqrt(3+2*sqrt(2))-1
and
b=1/sin 10-sqrt(3)/cos10
Hint: It is simpler than you think.

Assuming that the 10's involved are degree measure and that 1/4*loga(b) means (1/4)*loga(b), creating a table of values indicates solutions at x = (0 + k*360)° and (90 + k*360)°.
