Any others? (Posted on 2013-06-18) Difficulty: 2 of 5
100 is a square which is also a sum of 4 consecutive cubes.
Are there any others?

There's no assumption.  You're mixing cases.  My demonstration was for gcd of the expressions = 1 but for x=0, gcd=3 and for x=1, gcd=5.

In the first case the equation to be evaluated is 3a^4 + 5 = 8b^2 and in the second it's 5a^4 + 3 = 8b^2.

For completeness, gcd=15 requires 15a^4 + 1 = 8b^2.
