Given: A and B are 3-digit numbers, such that
A*B=C
and C is a permutation of their digits.

Find all possible solutions.

Casting out 9s Comment 2 of 2 |
Mod 9, we must have A*B = A + B

The only mod 9 values that work are

A  B
-- --
0  0
2  2
3  6
6  3
5  8
8  5

This cuts the number of possibilities down by almost 93%, but this still seems to be a job for a computer
