Fit 9 distinct letters into the array to form 20 5-letter words such that all having a vertical orientation (including diagonals) are read from top-down and horizontal words are read from left to right.
Any pair of words may share the first letter, the last letter, or the first and last from each other.

Thank you,Salil
Actually your solution is equal to mine and apparently
the only possible solution, once you are successful in you shopping for adequate database , task in which I have apparently failed.
Searching for explanation/definition or just proof of existence
of COUCT I've got a raised-brow expression as an answer from experts and remarks like " did you mean xxx" on several web searches.
Just to show you one of many typical responses :
<h1 style="font-family: georgia, arial, verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 27px; font-weight: normal; margin: 0px 0px 12px; padding: 0px;">couct</h1>
The word you've entered isn't in the dictionary. Click on a spelling suggestion below or try again using the search bar above.
- couch
- coute
- coach
- Cooch
- cutch
- cock
- coude
- coca
- Coco
- coat
- coot
- chock
- chuck
- cote
- cute
- cac-
- chute
- Cauca
- cot
- cut
Honestly, I still don't know neither what COUCT means and what word database s one is presumed to address.
I would appreciate getting answers(referenced to some authority) on those issues.
Thanks again.
