Let P1 be a polynomial of n terms raised to the m_th power.
Let P2 be a polynomial of m terms raised to the n_th power.

When expanded, which of the two will yield more terms?
Please explain your choice.

"So we have P1..." etc should be N(P1) i.e, the number of P1's terms.

The sequel should be adjusted mutatis mutandis.

You may edit, if you are so inclined.
