Solution computer-aided method | Comment 2 of 5 |
The solution was aided by use of Neil Rubenking's DOS program, NAMEGRAM.  It can first be made to list all the words that can be formed from the given set of letters. Then one can choose one of these words (in the first instance I chose CARROT), and produce anagrams of the rest. It allows specification that word be at least a certain length.

As a DOS program, it runs under Windows XP or prior, or on later Windows versions by using DOS Box. It's still available on the Internet, findable via a Google search.

CARROT SPINACH POTATO
