Rem1: The alphametic puzzle brother + chinese = sectors has a single solution.
Rem2: The asterisks * represent letters not in the alphametic.

Trace the authorship of the above wisecrack (more than one claim is a possibility).

This checks, as that makes the alphametic

2374153 + 6190585 = 8564738

I haven't looked up the author, but I guess it is the wisecracking Mother Theresa.
