Johny, trying to reduce, followed a certain diet
during the month of April.
He recorded his weight daily at 8:00, naked, using the same balance.
Some of his entries are given below:

Apr 3...........102.6 kg
Apr 8...........101.1 kg
Apr 14.........99.4 kg
Apr 18.........98.7 kg
Apr 22.........98.0 kg
Apr 28..........97.6 kg

Please provide your estimate of his average April weight.

Taking the average daily loss for a given consecutively noted interval for each interval, extrapolating by extending the first interval to April 1 with the same daily loss estimate for that interval, and extending the final interval's daily loss rate to April 30, gives an average April weight of approximately 99.61 kg.

(Taking the average of the given entries only, the average April weight calculates to approximately 99.57 kg.)

Rounding to the nearest tenth, the average April weight is calculated to be 99.6 kg.
