The last two digits of a perfect square N, having at least 3 digits, is 09 (in this order).

Is the hundreds digit of N always even? Give reasons for your answer.

Some Thoughts Can't find any under 10 billion | Comment 1 of 2
 For n100 = 1 To 99999999
   n = 100 * n100 + 9
   sr = Int(Sqr(n) + 0.5)
   If sr * sr = n And n100 Mod 2 = 1 Then
     Text1.Text = Text1.Text & n & crlf
     DoEvents
   End If
 Next

doesn't find any.
