Matching pairs II (Posted on 2015-11-05) Difficulty: 4 of 5
17 meaningful couples of words were broken into a list of 1st words and list of 2nd words, then one of the lists shuffled and matched with the other resulting in the following mismatched doubles:

1. altar mud
2. beau officer
3. private simmons
4. script dyzma
5. conrad moses
6. loan girl
7. stick conrad
8. lazy hanger
9. paper eye
10. amy boy
11. grandma harry
12. willy hilton
13. top notch
14. joseph loman
15. richard bones
16. nikodem tau
17. dirty bridges

Please restore capitalization and the correct matching.

Your solution is perfect, - my puzzle is not.

Initially I've created 20 mismatches and in the process of eliminating

the marginal/dubious pairs those two somehow were not filtered out.

Regarding my intentions - "stick (in the)mud" and Amy Tau- should be withdrawn: 1st is not a "couple of words" and the 2nd is not famous enough.

So, considering  the puzzle as "15 mismatches"- your solution is impeccable.

Btw, how long did it take to match the pairs? Had fun?
