On my 80th birthday my guests were presented with several sets of 4-digit numbers and challenged to create the number
80 using some (or all) of the 4 digits, basic math. signs (+,-,*,/,^ ,concatenation and brackets).
Examples:
n=1268; answers 16+8^2 or 68+12
n=3024; answers 320/4 or 20*4 or 40*2

Red herring....
2359 is the only example where !(factorial) is a must:
80=5! * 2/3
Computer would never try "out of the box", a human might...
