in such a way the solution is unique.
There are several possible solutions,- provide the one with a minimal value of s+e+q+u+n+c.

My error was in failing to include the carry in the comparison of possible values (e.g., both 14 (7+7) and 4 (2+2) result in the digit 4 being represented, with the former having a carry:
C+C+1=I+(1*10) <> S+S+1=I+(0*10)
Correction made to my earlier post. And, though CARTESIAN is a proper noun/adjective, it is a valid English word, and rightfully considered for a possible solution. FYI, TESTACEAN, which also may be a proper noun, is also a common noun/adjective.
