Tatami Tiling (Posted on 2016-03-29) Difficulty: 2 of 5
A tatami tiling is a tiling of 1x1 squares and 1x2 rectangles such that no four tiles meet at any point.

Find a tatami tiling of a 5x5 square such that there are five 1x1 tiles, five horizontal 1x2 tiles, and five vertical 2x1 tiles.

being a truncation of an infinite tiling, where the 1x1 tiles are really just half of 1x2 tiles on that infinite tiling.
