Using not more than
16 tiles from a standard Srabble game create an alphametic equation
w1+w2=w3 , where
w1,w2,w3 are English words and the sum of scrabble values of the participating tiles is maximal.
Rem1: The alphametic must have only one solution.
Rem2: The words used must be listed at this
online scrabble dictionary.
Rem3: The letters' values are
here.
Rem4: Try to do better than HEIGHT+QUIZ=TRUDGE (my example).
The International English Scrabble word list has the word ZANJA and its plural, yet the word is absent from the YourDictionary word list. Otherwise, the following alphametic is a good candidate for a
higher letter value
ZANJAS + YUAN = EXEQUY [letter value = 54]
194693 + 7894 = 202587
EXEQUY - (n.) funeral rites
YUAN - (n.) China's basic monetary unit
ZANJAS - plural of ZANJA (n.) an irrigation ditch
