Let A and B be the two matricies:
[ 4 2 -10 ] [ 0 3 ]
A = [-1 1 5 ] B = [-2 5 ]
[-1 -2 -2 ]
Find a 3x2 matrix C with rank 2 such that A*C = C*B.
I could expect that the official solution would be complex (and beyond my present possibilities) as the problem has four marks.
It match the enlarged solution I posted for m=2 n=-1, but I have been helped by an online matrix reductor. Otherwise I suppose it would have been a nightmare.
