In one of the issues of the National Puzzlers’ League publication Enigma, “Remardo” offered this mock-Latin verse:
Justa sibi dama ne
Luci dat eas qua re
Ibi dama id per se
Veret odo thesa me.
What does it mean?
Is something like this:
Just as I bid a manelucidate as qu as re (as quick as rocket?)
I bid a maid per Severe
to do the same.
The last original row is barely similar to latin and communicate english clearly. It puts me on the right track.
