For a certain couple of two positive numbers a and b the sum a+b, the product a*b and the expression a^2-b^2 result as the same non-zero number.

Evaluate a and b .

There is much simpler way:

a^2-b^2= (a-b)* (a+b) = a+b

so a-b=1 and a=b+1

go from there and solve for b
