When a number Y is divided by X - it leaves a remainder of 11.
When Y is divided by 8X , the remainder is 92.

What is the remainder when Y is divided by 4X ?

Some Thoughts Lowest X and Y values Comment 5 of 5 |
I am surprised that neither of the initial posters listed the lowest working (X,Y) pairs.

For Y positive and X integral, the lowest pairs are (27,92) and (81,92).

For Y positive, the lowest pair is (81/7,92)
