Concatenated Categories (Posted on 2017-10-09) Difficulty: 1 of 5
Each of the lines below consists of three or four items in the same category--a different category for each of the lines--except that one letter has been removed from each of the items.

The missing letters, when placed together, will then form, in order, an additional item in the same category for that line.

  1. THYEBASLOREGAOARRAGON
  2. OHOOREGNHAAIIUTH
  3. KENELHIVTYHUCH
  4. EEYOEWLPOH

From Mensa Puzzle Calendar 2017 by Mark Danna and Fraser Simpson, Workman Publishing, New York. Puzzle for October 2.
