Using a geographic site on the web, I found that there are given 19 communities (cities, towns, townships, villages) that are named Manhattan in the United States. These are located in Colorado, Florida (2), Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas,  Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New York, Ohio (4), Pennsylvania, Texas, and Utah. But for being a native or neighbor of any of these communities - other than the well-known Manhattan, New York - these locations are not generally known to the majority of the population, yet for those natives or neighbors they may be well-known.
