Solve the following equation (8x + 27x)/(12x + 18x) = 7/6

Set a=2^x, b=3^x giving (a^3+b^3)/(ab)(a+b) = 7/6.

Then factor the numerator, divide out (a+b), and solve the resulting quadratic to find a=3b/2 or 2b/3 and x=-1 or 1.
