I disagree.  Brian Smith gave the only possible correct answer to the question asked.  


The important word is "must."  D) is true of every polynomial for which p(3)=-2.  The other choices are sometimes true and sometimes false.  

The example x^2-11 was a perfect choice as only D) is true.  It shows that the other choices are NOT always true.
